A soft place to pause and connect

The Gentle Drop-in was created as an open, welcoming space for individuals to slow down, connect, and spend time in a gentle, pressure-free environment. Designed around ease and presence, the concept invited people to drop in at their own pace, whether to rest, reflect, or simply be around others. To date, the Gentle Drop-in has been held across two iterations, each thoughtfully shaped by community response and shared experiences.

From concept to execution, I led the project across both digital and physical touchpoints. This included launching and managing the main Instagram account, A Gentle Place, where I created and curated social media content that reflected the calm, reflective tone of the space. I also supported event set-up, ensuring the space felt warm, intentional, and aligned with the ethos of The Gentle Drop-in.

Collaboration was an important part of the experience. I worked closely with sponsors such as LUME Coffee and Spill The Tea, as well as with the venue, to create a supportive and nourishing environment for attendees. These partnerships helped shape the atmosphere of the event while staying true to its gentle, community-centred values.
